Magnesium Diagnostic Kit

Magnesium Diagnostic Kit is intended for the quantitative determination of magnesium concentration in human serum, plasma, and urine using photometric methods on clinical chemistry analyzers, photometers, and spectrophotometers. The assay is based on the Xylidyl Blue method, in which magnesium ions form a purple-colored complex in alkaline medium. Calcium interference is eliminated by GEDTA, and the absorbance measured at 546 nm is directly proportional to magnesium concentration in the sample.
