Total Protein (Urine / CSF) Diagnostic Kit

A pyrogallol red–molybdate colorimetric diagnostic reagent system for quantitative determination of total protein in human urine and cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) using biochemistry analyzers, photometers, and spectrophotometers. The method is based on protein-induced shift in the pyrogallol red–molybdate complex, forming a blue-purple complex measured at 600 nm, with absorbance proportional to protein concentration.
